Sometimes what I start on Friday takes me the rest of the week to complete. Sometimes it takes me longer. We will not discuss the unfinished quilts that may children will find one day. As for now I have been determined to keep up with the Easy Street Mystery. After all I could use a little excitement/mystery, and what I find in the laundry is just not cutting it.
Can I just say this mystery is so aptly named. Because this morning I sent the kids to school and got started. By lunch time I had my 64 completed blocks. Hooray for a finish! Now on to the rest of my "To Do List"
Can I just tell my family there is more to do here and go back to quilting?
I'm right there with you! I also sent my lovely family to work and school this morning and went straight to the quilt room. The only problem is I have almost ran out of time before they all return :-) and the rest of my "To Do List" needs to be due! :-) Happy Quilting!! Love your colors!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, but that means you can't let them know that you finished this part of the clue. I have a hard time with that. When I'm finished I run right in and show my hubby! LOL
ReplyDeleteLove your colors Charity! Happy sewing :-)
Love the oranges!
ReplyDeleteHurray for you!!! I think I am having one of your 'other' weeks - the one where what you started Friday takes the rest of the week - I'm all cut out - but haven't seemed to find my way to the sewing machine...lol. Keep up the great work and we won't tell your fam a thing! :)
ReplyDeleteYour patches look fantastic. Clue 4 is nearly here – woo hoo!
ReplyDeleteLove your fabrics..red and purple are my two favourites and they look good together! Looking forward to the next step.....it's a great way to 'build'a quilt..... even when we don't know where we are going!
